Writing Across the Glass with a Spider's Web

sometimes being human is harder than letting go

Sticky Post
She is the girl you pass by on the street, the one who looks at you and sees your eyes but not the rest of your existence. She is the girl you can see from a distance, walking down the beach, a silhouette against the dying day, with her hands above her head, straining to catch the first evening stars. She is the one who sits on the concrete and watches the heavy pink dusk: the laces of her shoes trail along the ground and red juice from a strawberry runs like blood down her chin and there is a heavy sadness in her eyes. She is the girl who sits at the piano for a long time without playing anything. She is the girl whose face you forget but whose words tend to stick in your mind a little longer. She is the girl with the scruffy hair and the leather jacket and the armful of papers, the girl who passes you by without looking at you as you enter the coffee shop.

She is the girl who is no longer there when you turn around.

You should know, however, that I want to know people who update and comment often [where possible, of course]. Just as a side thing.
